Jenny Witteborg

Jenny 'J5' Witteborg, a native of San Diego, California, graduated from Gallaudet University in 1983 with a BA in Government and also studied Deaf Culture (ABT2014)

        She  was the youngest and only Deaf child in a family of nine siblings.  Later, she discovered her great grandparents had been Deaf and attended the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf back in the 1880s.  She learned ASL at age 18 1/2 years old.
          Jenny currently advocates for LEAD-K Virginia and works part time as an ASL Drill instructor/tutor. She is an Artist in 3-D mixed media, ceramics, and acrylic paintings. She resides with her husband in Culpeper County and is a proud Mom to 5 Coda, and Gramma to 2 (soon to be 3) grandchildren.
